The Kingfish Company è un'azienda pioniera e leader nell'acquacoltura terrestre sostenibile che utilizza la tecnologia avanzata dei sistemi di acquacoltura a ricircolo (RAS) sviluppata internamente.
Sulle rive dell'estuario marino del fiume Schelde, in una riserva Natura 2000, nei Paesi Bassi, che serve quotidianamente il mercato dell'UE, un avannotteria a ciclo completo, un impianto di ricerca e sviluppo in loco e un sistema di crescita avanzato.
La capacità di produzione annua di pesce ricciola premium presso lo stabilimento Kingfish Zeeland nei Paesi Bassi raggiungerà le 3.500 tonnellate entro la fine del 2023. Kingfish Maine, negli Stati Uniti, ha ottenuto il permesso dalle agenzie di regolamentazione locali, statali e federali per costruire un impianto di produzione da 8.500 tonnellate.
