Yellowtail Tataki Salad

- Yellowtail loin (back part) without skin
- Own salad
Ingredients for the dressing:
- Mayonnaise of your choice
- Soy sauce
- Extra taste of your choice (e.g. ginger, garlic, pepper etc)
Preparation:
Prepare in advance:
- Ice cubes in a bowl of water
How to make Tataki:
- Defrost the Yellowtail until it is half frozen
- Open the package and wipe the extra moisture from the fish with kitchen paper
- Put some oil into the pan and heat it until some smoke comes up
- Fry the fish for about 5 – 10 seconds for all three sides
- Put the fish in the water with ice cubes
- When the fish has cooled down, take it out and wipe the water completely dry with kitchen paper
- Slice the fish thinly and place it on the plate with the salad of your choice. Mix 3 parts mayonnaise with 1 part soy sauce and add extra taste of your choice. Sprinkle the dressing over both the fish and the salad.
